8 slices Texas toast
4 XL Eggs
2 cups milk
1 tablespoon butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon sugar
pinch of nut meg
Preheat skillet on medium burner with butter.
In a small bowl beat eggs and milk together until the yolks are blended and egg whites are few. Then mix in the other ingredients. You want a slow stream of liquid for thickness. If it not there beat in 1 or 2 more eggs. One at a time dip texas toast in to mix for about 4 seconds on each side, and place on skillet. Don't let the bread touch in skillet. Cook until you see the crust harden about 1/4 of the way up then flip. Toast should be dry with a few brownish caramelized areas. Place toast cut and place on plate. Drizzle with syrup or top your favorite fruit and whipped cream.
